• The Default Profile: The exterior features a classic 1" chink groove for that timeless, pioneer log cabin aesthetic. On the inside, you get a clean, deep "V" groove that makes interior walls look sharp, modern, and spacious.

• The Double "V" Option: Prefer a more contemporary look all around? By popular demand, we now offer the option to cut the "V" groove on both sides of the log.

We don’t rely on wood-on-wood contact alone. As you stack these logs, they are locked down using a two-part sealing system:

• A closed-cell gasket sits securely on top of the tongue.

• A bead of DAP 812 foam is applied along the flat surface during construction.

The Result: An airtight, moisture-proof, energy-efficient wall system that keeps the draft out and the cozy in—crucial for smaller log homes that you want to heat and cool efficiently.

• Simpson Strong-Tie SDW 10" Log Fasteners: Space-tested and proven, these heavy-duty structural screws are driven in every 2 feet along the wall, drawing the logs together tightly and ensuring incredible vertical strength.

• ¾" Hardwood Dowels: To handle lateral engineering and prevent any shifting or shearing over time, we incorporate a ¾" hardwood dowel as a shear pin. This ensures your walls stay perfectly plumb and structurally sound for generations.
